Article 2 – Price

For customers of the European Union: the prices of our products are pointed out in euro all taxes included (VAT and other applicable taxes the day of order), except opposite indication and except shipping expenses.
For customers outside European Union: the prices of our products are duty-free pointed out.
In case of order towards a country which is not part of the European Union, you are the importer of concerned products. VAT of your country, customs duties, other local taxes, import rights are likely to be paid. According to laws, theses taxes and fees are to be paid by the importer (the customer) who is entirely responsible in terms of statements and about payments to authorities and organisms toward your country. We recommend you to enquire about these aspects to your local authorities.
All orders whatever their origin, are payable in euro, dollar or other currencies (see Article 5 : payment).
La Caravelle reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but the applicable price is the one indicated on the website by the time the customer places his order and according to availability.
La Caravelle is the whole owner of every product until complete payment by the customer.
Be careful: as soon as you take physically possession of ordered products, risks of loss or damaging are transferred to you.

Article 3 - Order, Pre-order and Gift Card/Store credit

Any order must be placed on this website.
However, according to a written agreement of La Caravelle, an order can be placed by another way. Then, the customer must strictly follow the indications given by our team.
Only products and their characteristics (appearance, material, composition, colors, etc.) sold on this website are valid. All other photos and information shown on other websites, as social medias (Facebook, Instagram etc.) don't engage La Caravelle. Before ordering, the customer has to check all information.

If your order contains an item on pre-order, the entire order will ship once the pre-ordered item is in stock. If you would like to receive the items that are currently available to ship immediately, place a different order for the pre-ordered item(s).
To use a store credit or gift card, enter your unique code in "I have gift code" section upon checkout. The amount of the store credit or gift card will automatically be deducted from your subtotal. If you do not use the entire store credit, the remainder will be available for a future purchase using the same unique code. Store Credit cannot be applied to shipping costs. Only one discount/store credit code may be used per transaction.

Article 4 – Order validation

Your use of this website constitutes your agreement with said policies. You will be bound by these terms of agreement. All given data and recorded confirmation can be presented as proof of transaction.
After each validated order, a confirmation order is sent to you by email.

Article 5 - Payment

By validating your order, you undertake to pay the indicated final price.
The regulations of your purchases are made by credit card operated by to the secured system Monético from Crédit Mutuel – CIC (CM-CIC) or Paypal.
Debit to your credit card is performed only at the shipping of your order. In case of deliveries divided up, only the shipped products will be debited.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit card payments as well as PayPal payments. The store does not accept all currencies.If you wish to pay by another way, please contact us. 

Article 6 - Shipping
Products are delivered at the address written by the customer. The leadtime indicated do not hire La Caravelle and depend on conveyors.
When placing your order, please make sure to check very seriously all your informations : product(s), billing address, contact, credit statement. Should you have any hesitation, please contact us.

Article 7 - Availabilty
Our products are available as long as they are visible on the website and according to the limits of our stock.
After having placed an order and in case of unavailability of your product, you we will be informed by an email within 1 business day. Then, your order will be automatically cancelled and no debit on your credit card will be performed.

Article 8 - Guarantee
La Caravelle sells only brands items, new and bought directly from the producer. There can be manufacturing faults, such as problem of weaving or similar defect.
La Caravelle guarantees products for such problems during 90 days after the purchase, and exchange or refund any article introducing such defects during this period. Past 90 days, we will make our best to help you if the producer is able to answer your request. However, we will not exchange or reimburse beyond 90 days an item that is not repairable, unless the producer is willing to take over the exchange or the refund.

Article 9 - Return and exchange
The customer has 28 days from the delivery of the product to send us by email his return or exchange request. To learn more about return conditions, please read the "Shipping & Return" rubric.
By ordering on this website, the customer accepts Shipping & Return terms.

Article 10 - Responsibility
Products sold on this website comply with French laws. The responsibility of La Caravelle cannot be hold in case of non-conformity towards legislation of the country where the product is delivered. It is up to you to prove the importation compliance to the local authorities.
Moreover, La Caravelle cannot not be responsible for damages resulting from a wrong use of the bought product.
At the end, the responsibility of La Caravelle could not be hold for all disadvantages or damages due to the use of Internet network, notably a service break, an external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses.

Article 11 - Litigation and courts
The main language of our sales conditions is the French language, and these conditions are subject to the French law. In case of dispute, the French courts will be the only one competent, especially the Tribunal d'Instance or the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Strasbourg.

Article 12 - Intellectual property
La Caravelle owns the intellectual and exclusive property of all elements of the website No one is authorized to make copies, to exploit, to repeat, or use whatever activity, even partly, any data of the website as software, visual or sound.

Article 13 – Personal data
Data recorded on the website are necessary for the management of your account and your orders, as well as for the improvement of services and for information we address you.
They can also be transmitted to the societies which contribute to these relations, such as those charged to the execution of services and orders for management, execution, treatment and payment.
These information and data are also kept for security purpose, in order to comply with regulation and lawful obligations.
La Caravelle commits itself not to sell your data to any commercial companies.

Article 14 – Archived orders and proof
La Caravelle keeps copy of each order and invoice on a reliable and sustainable support according to the article 1348 of the Civil Code of French law.
The data registers will be considered by all concerned parties as prooves of communications, orders, payments and transactions between customers and La Caravelle.
